Jodi House acquired the property, previously the home to Chad’s Restaurant on Chapala, for their new headquarters. The Project consisted of a new structure at the rear of the property for a multi-purpose room, a new restroom structure and a complete restoration of the original Victorian house facing Chapala Street, which, due to it’s historic significance, has been restored to it’s original state. The Addition proposed for the rear of the house blends into the existing architecture and maintains the historic Victorian style. The new rear structure, in contrast, is meant to stand alone, with detailing reminiscent of carriage houses and early American barns.
